Is Shadow actually...smiling?? Hey, even angry, impulsive ultimate life forms can have fun! But who's the better boarder? :D

Being an avid extreme skier, I thought it might be fun to do a Sonic snow-sport piece and after some prompting from certain friends, I went with it. Naturally, I chose my two fav. characters but I couldn't see them skiing so I decided to draw them snowboarding instead. Originally Shadow was going to have his all-too-common scowl on his face but I thought that there just aren't enough art pieces of him just having a good time. So I kept the happy, competitive looks for both of them and I think it made the piece better as a whole.

As always, comments and constructive criticism are appreciated. :D

Done with:
HB pencil. Outlined in ink. Colored with Prismacolor Markers and gel pens.

Yeah I could've done better on the background though. When I scanned it the first time, the background didn't show up because I used too soft of colors on it. So I darkened them but I think I was a bit sloppy doing it.
